The Village of Clarendon Hills is located in eastern DuPage County, west of I-294 and Route 83 and just south of I-88 and Ogden Avenue. Clarendon Hills was planned in the 1870s and subsequently incorporated in 1924. It is home to about 8,500 people and over 80 flourishing businesses.
Clarendon Hills provides accessibility from its station on Metra’s BNSF Railway Line, which provides daily rail service between Aurora, Illinois and Chicago, Illinois (at Union Station). AlsoPace operates connecting bus services. Currently, bus lines 663 and 664 serve Clarendon Hills.
Clarendon Hills is a well established, prosperous west suburban Chicago community. The Village offers an excellent quality of life for residents with quality schools, high average home values and a lively business district which includes a Metra commuter rail station. The community also includes business passageways along Ogden Avenue and 55th Street.
Clarendon Hills maintains development through supporting investment and reinvestment in its neighborhoods and commercial districts. Clarendon Hills has a Downtown Master Plan in 2006, an Ogden Avenue TIF District. It values investment in infrastructure and municipal services to make sure it will continue thriving in the coming years.
